Hugg & Pepp, the dynamic duo consisting of the two cousins John and Jesper Dahlbäck, started out and released late in 2003 their first EP together called Bastratt EP. Since then they have continously kept releasing very high-qualitative releases under their own record label, Dahlbäck Records. John Dahlbäck is born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1985. He moved to a small village outside Stockholm at an early age. Both his mother and father are musicians, and almost everyone in his family too. Got in touch with housemusic by his older cousin Jesper Dahlbäck and John started to produce the music after that. His first track got released by Pawel Kobak's label Route 33 and the first 12" came on the Chicago-based label Deep4life. Jesper Dahlbäck is a Swedish-based electronic artist working out of Stockholm. Since 1994 his prolific and original style has seen him release countless twelve inches, a mix CD, three full-length albums and has DJed all over the world.

Durch seinen Cousin Jesper Dahlbäck kam er in Kontakt mit Housemusic und unverzüglich begann er diese Musik zu produzieren. Seine erste Single Produktion wurde auf Pawel Kobak's Label Route 33 released und seine erste 12" erschien bei chicago'er Label Deep4Life. Jesper Dahlbäck, der ältere Cousin von John Dahlbäck, ist ein in Schweden geborener Artist der elektronischen Musik. Seit 1994 konnte er mit seinem unverwechselbaren und originellem Stil unzählige 12" Releases, Mix-CDs und drei Alben veröffentlichen. Ausserdem hat er als DJ die ganze Welt bereist und in allen Hot-Spots der Welt gespielt.
